The future is Flyhawk!
Female sport is on the rise!
It’s receiving more air time and the players are getting the recognition they deserve through awards and media appearances. So it only makes sense for there to be a brand which can provide these female athletes with the equipment and team apparel they need to bring their best self on court. Play Netball are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Flyhawk, to bring the best quality netballs to all our leagues.
Teaming up like the perfect pass on the court, we are delighted to announce our partnership with Play Netball. As one of the largest providers of fun and friendly Netball Leagues across the UK, our collaboration is a perfect fit with our shared passion of making netball accessible to as many people as possible. We are excited to work with the team at Play Netball as their new official match ball partner.
Flyhawk may still be the new kids on the block but they are leaving their mark. They already have a large number of partnerships with clubs and ambassadors from the netball industry, (London Pulse, Team Bath, Serena Guthrie and Nat Metcalf are just a few names to drop). They have also recently launched the ‘Teen Girls Kit Project’, a new era of PE kit and sportwear for teenage girls. Our partnership with Flyhawk will mark a milestone for grassroot level netball as all women, regardless of age or experience, can play the sport they love with the best equipment suited to their needs. Sport belongs to everyone, and with Flyhawk, we hope to aspire more women to step out of their comfort zone and get back on that netball court.
Flyhawk was launched in 2020, with the mission to be at the forefront of memorable and historic moments within netball. They are the only teamwear brand who’s primary focus is on female sport, which is what makes their netballs perfect for all players on court. All their netballs have 3D grip and a Super Bladder, giving you more control over the ball and ensures air stays locked in for longer. Claire who plays in our Newbury Monday league for Newbury Comets had this to say about Flyhawk:
They are great, the grip is brilliant and they last much longer than other brands. Most netballs are made for indoor courts but typically most games (specifically social leagues) are played outdoors so they have to withstand all weather conditions and surfaces. They are reasonably priced and have a variety of colours and designs to choose from. My team uses the Housby Flyte netball!
