Our mission is to provide safe and inclusive spaces for women to enjoy playing netball, regardless of age, ability or experience.
All of our leagues have teams who have signed up in different ways, from individuals, groups of friends who sign up together, whole teams of ladies and work colleagues! We welcome players of all abilities, ages and netball experience. If you’re over 18 & want to play, that’s all you need!
Social netballers join for the same reasons: to have fun, stay active, and meet new people. Whatever your background or ability, there’s a place for you here.

Don’t worry about ‘teams’ yet! If you want to play, but don’t have enough for a whole ‘work team’, that’s fine!
- Each person that wishes to join needs to register as an ‘individual’ online.
- To make sure you’re put on a team with your friends, please email info@playnetball.co.uk and let us know the names of the people you’d like to be in a team with, and that you’re joining with your work friends.
- Please don’t forget to email us, as this will ensure that your discount is applied!
Our dedicated league administrators will either wait until there’s enough registrations and build a brand new team including you and your work friends, or will immediately slot you into an existing team that has the spaces available!

If you have enough players to field a whole team (we suggest minimum of 8 people), then you can join as a whole team!
- Just one person needs to register the team with us initially, other team members can be added afterwards.
- When everyone is ready to register, players will need to register as an ‘individual’. The player who initially registered the team (typically the captain) will be able to assign players, or we can add them – just email us if you have any issues and we’d be glad to help: info@play-netball.co.uk
As you’re joining a whole team, your team will typically need to wait for the upcoming season before you can start playing. This is because all fixtures are pre-organised before each season!
HOW TO JOIN
Whether you’re joining with a work friend, a group of work friends, or a whole team of colleagues, you’ll need to register to play on our secure online platform, Magic League!
You’ll be sent an email to confirm your registration, and then another email to confirm your place in the league. If you join with friends, you’ll then receive confirmation of your team and start date when the league administrators have allocated you a team. If you join a whole team, you’ll receive confirmation of your start date for the next season.
Don’t be alarmed if you don’t hear from us straight away, our team will be busy allocating registrations, creating teams, and then organising the upcoming seasons and fixtures to include the new players!
When you sign up, we do not ask for any payment details. We are only asking you to give us your contact details so we can let you know when there’s a space in a team for you, or when a team has been created that you can enter.

You can easily view your league table on Magic League, our user-friendly portal, where you can set your availability, see all of your past and future fixtures and manage your payments. Just go to ‘Login’ at the top of the page and it will take you to your Magic League profile.
If you already play in one of our Play Netball leagues, or have registered to play with us before, you would have already created your Magic League account on our website. Please login, scroll down and click the ‘request to join’ button, and select the league. Don’t forget to email us with the players you’d like to join with!
If you have trouble logging in, just press ‘forgot password’ and type the email address that you would have used when signing up to Play Netball.
