How Our tournaments Work

Here is a quick rundown of how our tournaments work:

  • There is space for 24 teams to take part. All teams must already be registered to a Play Netball league.
  • You’re welcome to invite friends or family members to join your tournament team, but at least 3 players must currently play in a Play Netball league.
  • There is no limit to the number of players assigned to your team but there will only be 8 trophies/medals awarded to the winning teams.
  • All teams will be placed into groups of 6 and will play each team in their group once. The top two teams from each group will then progress to the next stage. If you don’t make it through the group stage, there will still be the option to play friendly matches against other teams.
  • Team registration is £90. This will need to be paid in advance to confirm your team’s space.
  • You don’t need to provide an umpire or scorer. Teams will need to bring their own bibs.
  • There will be trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

    REVIEWS

I love Play Netball, I had been looking for a friendly social league for a long time and this was it. It’s a great way to get out of the house, keep fit and make friends. I had not played netball since leaving school (18 years to be exact)! But it didn’t take long for me to remember. This is my ‘me time’, as most mums will know ‘me time’ is hard to come by, but for me this is time well spent.
